‘Sport For You'' a cross community initiative aimed at increasing cross community youth involvement in local sports, invites You to the ''Sport For You'' Summer Scheme at St James Aldergrove. This summer scheme is open to anyone in the Crumlin/Glenavy area 7-16 years, boys and girls, regardless of background, religion or experience of sport. A variety of sports will be on offer including soccer, gaelic Football, rounders, hurling, athletics, rugby, as well as a local professional Ju JuJitsu coach and an Antrim County GAA coach. The idea of the Sport For You summer scheme is to bring together all the young people of Crumlin in an enjoyable and organised way so that new friendships can be made and anti social behaviour/ underage drinking can be avoided by yuoung people becoming more involved in the local sporting outlets available to them in their local town. The Sport For You Summer Scheme will run from Monday 16th to Thursday 19th August at St James Aldergrove club grounds from 10am-2pm each day.
