Disgusted Mother

I was at the match v Dunloy tonight and came way thoroughly disgusted with the shocking behaviour of ........

Admin Reply - A letter has already been sent to county regarding this matter. I would suggest that there is no further comment on the public message board whilst we await a response from the relevant officials. Sorry but I felt it best to censor the remainder of your post as the matter is now going through the proper channels - I trust you will understand that public alllegations are best avoided in such instances.

Naomh Séamas (Here to Stay Forever)

Can I start off by saying well done to all involved with St Josephs PS INTO County Football title winning team especially the young boys from our own Club may this be the start of many winners’ medals to come within the sport. It''s great to see Gaelic games starting to prosper within the school. Now for some frustration. The arrogance from SOME of our so called fellow Gaels disappoints me though doesn''t surprise me as some of them can''t see past their own noses. They have been trying to tramp us into the ground for years (in one way or another) but we have still struggled & battled on, on our own, regrouped, restructured & developed from our underage ranks. And now after receiving that letter from the "so called parish building committee" who are meant to represent OURSELVES & OUR Parish I find it hard to believe that a fellow Gael sits on this committee yet sees nothing wrong with starving OUR youth of being provided Gaelic Games within their own community. It''s a sad day when this can happen in this day & age but I’m sure we will fight tooth & nail to make sure we can still provide so many within this community Gaelic Games the Naomh Séamas way.

Well done Matthew, Anthony , Bobby,Ciaran ,Jude, Ruari, CJ and Odhran, Daniel and Conor. You did the parish proud. Unlike our building committee. Time to let the world know what the parish is doing to its own flock. They would be thrown out of the temple for sure.

County Champions!!! well done St Joes very proud of you all ... when I went to St Josephs myself we weren''t lucky enough to be involved in anything like this. Great to see progress of Gaelic Games in our Parish. Teamwork at such a young age is certainly a life skill that will serve these boys well in the future, no matter what academic level they achieve. The role of sports in general cannot be underestimated in a childs development. The proximity/accessibility of our pitch to the school is pivotal to this. However, having read about the ''Parish Building Committee'' its clear that our children are being overlooked in favour of a facelift. It seems, the biggest losers out of this sad situation will be this successful bunch of players, their brothers, their sisters and ultimatley the Youth of Crumlin.
